The key is hidden, the one to rockhoppers quarters, follow this:

1. Go to the book room.
2. Click on the library.
3. Go into Captain Rockhoppers Diary.
4. Go to the last page.
5. And there it is!
6. Go to the migrator and go into the hull, then see the door that’s where it is!

Theres a free item at the dock and a flower pot for the members.
